Cnidaria

Cnidaria

Overview

Phylum cnidaria includes anemones, corals and jellyfish which have radial symmetry, true tissues, but an incomplete digestive tract. To move around they use their hydrostatic or calcium-based skeleton and some even have stinging cells called nematocysts. This group includes both colonial, such as corals, and solitary species.
